ADRA Thailand is currently seeking for applicant to work at our office in Chiang Mai province in the Statelessness Reduction and Community Sensitization Project as detail below
Program Coodinator – Re-announcement
Work locations: Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai Province
Responsibilities:
- Planning with Project Manager to ensure the successful implementation of project objectives and activities
- Providing guidance to solve issues identified (this includes regular project monitoring and evaluation)
- Developing and strengthening relationships with the district, provincial and national authorities
- Enhancing the local protection networks for the stateless persons
- Ensure project M&E system is in place and functioning well to capture the data required for project reporting
- Involved in monthly expenditure review and budget reallocation if necessary
- Able to lead the Situation Analysis on the current situation of the nationality procedure for stateless persons in Chiang Rai Province and draft the report in English for the Situation Analysis
- Attend local and Regional Networking and advocacy meetings
- Supporting the Human Resource Office and Program Director regarding Human Resources management
- Ensuring frequent and transparent communication with Program Director and Project Manager
- Performing regular monitoring and evaluation in line with ADRA Thailand and donors standards
- Draft quarterly and end of project reports in English to be submitted to Program Director
- Giving support to Project Manager to ensure projects are successfully implemented in line with project proposals/ planned results
- Involved in communication with UNHCR as assigned by Program Director
- Supporting project assessments and evaluation as necessary
Performing other tasks as required by the Program Director
Preferred candidates are expected to meet the following:
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Community Development, or in law, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 year experience in project management position equal to the position responsibilities outlined above.
- Concrete knowledge in statelessness issues;
- Work experiences in assisting stateless persons to obtain legal status;
- Experience in conduct researches or studies.
Language Skills:
- Thai as native language;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English;
- Able to write reports in English.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to mentor and build up skills of others
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Computer proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Problem solving skills
- Proven coordination skills with Thai authorities of various levels
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Strong cross cultural and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize work
- Strong managerial skills, high level of flexibility and self-motivated.
