Position: Accounting Assistant (1 open position)
Handicap International (HI) seeks an Accounting Assistant based in Mae - Sot, Tak province.

HI is an international non-governmental, non-religious, non-political and non-profit making organization specialized in the field of disability. It works alongside people with disabilities, offering them assistance and supporting them in their efforts to become self-reliant. Since its creation, the organization has set up programmes in approximately 60 countries worldwide and intervened in many emergency situations.
HI in Thailand is currently supporting projects along the Thailand - Burma border focusing on the following:
GENERAL MISSION:
The Accounting Assistant is based in Mae Sot office under the supervision of the Finance & accounting Officer. His/her mission is timely management of the accounts and cash flow. Major responsibilities will include analysis, processing of the monthly accounting reports. The Accounting Assistant need to respect the internal principles, procedures, norms but also the external constraints, and the time required.
Aim: The programme’s book keeping conforms to accounting norms, internal procedures and the timeframes fixed
Aim: Optimal management of the cash flow, good availability of funds, secured levels of flow
Aim: To develop the team’s autonomy and performance
Aim: Ensure cash box safety, management and follow up
Qualifications required/ Desired Profile:
Education: Diploma in accounting or business administration.
