Malteser International is currently working with temporary refugee shelters and surrounding villages in Sob-Moei district, Mae Hong Son province in Thailand. Our office located in Mae Sariang is looking for efficient, motivated and experienced individuals for the position as Clinical Trainer
Clinical Trainer
Duty Station: Mae Sariang town, Mae Hong Son province
Duration: 7 months
Work locations: Mae Sariang, Sob Moei District (Mae La Ma Luang and Mae La Oon Temporary shelters)
Main Responsibilities/Duties
- Prepare initial training documents and tools such PowerPoint presentations and handouts for training
- Collaborate with Medical Coordinator to plan the recruitment of initial medic trainees, such as enrollment criteria, written tests and interviews
- Conduct the recruitment of initial medic trainees in collaboration with Medical Coordinator, Clinical Supervisors, Nurse Supervisors and Field Coordinators
- Prepare and conduct periodical evaluation of the trainees at the end of each subject and properly record those results
- Prepare and conduct final examination, both theory and practical, at the end of the training period to assess the clinical skills of the trainees
- Conduct initial training according to the training curriculum and Burmese Border Guideline (BBG)
- Prepare and submit periodical training report, indicating budget spent, training achievement and needs
Essential Qualifications/Skills:
- Medical Doctor, desirable with previous training experience with medical training design
- Experience of working with refugees along the border is an asset
- Strong teaching, training and supervision skills
- Ability to set priorities and provide quality output
- Open and enthusiastic to work in a multicultural and challenging environment with limited resource
- Organizational, managerial and diplomatic skills
- Computer literacy, being able to use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint programs efficiently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills as a good team player

Nurse/Mental Health Supervisor
Duty Station: Mae Sariang town, Mae Hong Son province
Work locations: Mae Sariang, Sob Moei District (Mae La Ma Luang and Mae La Oon Temporary shelters)
Main Responsibilities/Duties
- Supervise and monitor activities of the camp based nurses to ensure the quality care of the patients
- Ensure the overall hygiene of medical facilities according to guidelines
- Provide trainings to new nurses with basic nurse training curriculum
- Update basic nurse training curriculum on regular basis
- Carry out Refresher training/bedside teaching to nurses regularly for improvement of knowledge and skill
- Assist Medical Coordinator in implementing the activities of MI's psychosocial program in camp
- Provide technical support to psychosocial care counselors to be able to counsel and support refugees experiencing mental health problems
- Supervise individual and group counseling sessions and provide support if needed
- Supervise basic living support program: prepare budget and supply, identify gaps for the very vulnerable patients, provide support to the psychosocial outreach worker
- Supervise the psychosocial awareness activities in the camps
Essential Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor in Nursing or related field
- Several years’ experience in clinical nursing
- Strong Psychosocial technical knowledge and proven training experience
- Experience of working with refugees is an asset
- Strong teaching, training and supervision skills
- Strong command of Karen (spoken and written) and fluency in Thai and English language
- Computer literacy, being able to use Word, Excel, and Power Point programs
- Good interpersonal, communication, managerial and diplomatic skills

เจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ช่วยโครงการพัฒนาเพื่อการดำรงชีพที่ยั่งยืน มีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบในการดำเนินกิจกรรมพัฒนาการดำรงชีวิตและกิจกรรม การจัดการป่าต้นน้ำในหมู่บ้านไทยร่วมกันกับสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาพื้นที่สูง นอกจากนี้ผู้ช่วยโครงการพัฒนาเพื่อการดำรงชีพที่ยั่งยืน จะอยู่ภายใต้การควบคุมดำเนินงานของผู้จัดการโครงการสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาพื้นที่สูง

หน้าที่รับผิดชอบหลัก
- จัดระเบียบและดำเนินการประเมินความมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการพัฒนาการดำรงชีพและโภชนาการ
- จัดตั้งกลุ่มการเกษตร และให้ความรู้ด้านเทคนิคที่จำเป็นและคำแนะนำในการผลิตผลทางการเกษตรในระดับหมู่บ้าน
- ดำเนินกิจกรรมต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการฟื้นฟูสภาพแวดล้อมร่วมกันกับชาวบ้านในชุมชน (อาทิ เช่น ระบบการจัดการป่าต้นน้ำ กิจกรรมชุมชนปลูกป่าทดแทน กิจกรรมการสร้างแนวกันไฟ และการสร้างฝายกั้นน้ำ เป็นต้น)
- สรุปแผนงานและงบประมาณตามผลการประเมินชุมชน
- ประสานงานและสนับสนุนโครงการและกิจกรรมชุมชนตามที่วางไว้ในแผนงานแบบบูรณาการ
- ดำเนินการประสานงานและการประชุมทบทวนความคืบหน้ากับกลุ่มเป้าหมายและติดตามการดำเนินงาน
- วางแผนและตั้งระเบียบการทำงานของตนเองให้เป็นไปตามแผนงานประจำและส่งให้ผู้จัดการโครงการสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาพื้นที่สูง
- ดำเนินการแก้ไขข้อมูลให้เป็นข้อมูลปัจจุบันในระบบจัดเก็บข้อมูลพื้นฐาน อันเป็นข้อมูลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ พื้นที่เป้าหมาย รายละเอียดการประชุม และ ข้อมูลการฝึกอบรม
คุณสมบัติ
- ปริญญาตรีสาขาวิชาส่งเสริมการเกษตร ปศุสัตว์ หรือ เทียบเท่า
- มีประสบการณ์ในด้านการพัฒนาเพื่อการดำรงชีพในพื้นที่สูง
- มีทักษะในการดำเนินกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนและเครือข่ายโครงการที่เกี่ยวข้อง
- มีทักษะการฝึกสอน การจัดอบรมด้านการเกษตรและหัวข้อที่เกี่ยวข้อง
- มีทักษะด้านคอมพิวเตอร์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ ไมโครซอฟท์ ออฟฟิส
- สัญชาติไทย อายุระหว่าง 25 – 35 ปี
- มีความสามารถในการทำงานในพื้นที่ห่างไกลและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่จำกัด
- สามารถทำงานร่วมกับโครงการได้เต็มเวลาและยินดีที่จะทำงานนอกเหนือจากเวลางาน
