Position: Business Development Manager

Assignment duration: One year contract with likely extension

Duty station: Bangkok

JOB BACKGROUND: Plan International Thailand is seeking a qualified Business Development Manager to improve its grants management systems and expand its grant income in order to undertake additional child rights programming.  

JOB PURPOSE: The selected candidate will actively seek and maximize opportunities for additional funding from a variety of sources; strengthen the capacity of the in-country Business Development Team to acquire and administer sustainable grant funding; and enhance the Country profile through strong and active networking with donors/stakeholders.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Five years experience in the area grants acquisition; Knowledge of the various donor’s interests, priorities and requirements; Excellent English oral and written communication skills; Advanced negotiating skills; Proven strategic relationship management skills; Team builder; Knowledge in child right programming beneficial; Thai nationals preferred although qualified expatriates may be considered.
