The Foundation for Local Development (FLD) is a registered non-profit organisation based in Chiang Mai, providing training, management and consultancy services for community development initiatives in southeast Asia. Funding has been secured to stimulate SMEs in the agricultural and food security sectors across conflict-affected areas of southeastern Myanmar.

Position Summary: The Administration and Finance Officer will provide office-based logistical and accounting support, assisting with operational and financial management and cross-cultural communication with Thai, Karen, Burmese and international stakeholders. Reports to FLD's Finance Manager.

Duties: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, bookkeeping, and accounting records; process expense claims, advance requests, and payments; support procurement (supplier ID, quotations, purchase orders, contracts); maintain financial records and documentation; support preparation of financial reports; handle general office admin, supplies, and logistics for meetings/workshops/field visits; coordinate travel and per diem; maintain HR admin records (contracts, timesheets, leave).

Qualifications: Experience in financial administration (humanitarian/development sector preferred); proficiency in Excel and accounting software; cross-cultural communication with Thai, Karen, Burmese and international stakeholders; Thai citizenship or eligibility for a Thai work permit required.

Salary: THB 23,000/month

Duration: Full-time, 21-month contract (possible extension)
