ADRA Thailand works with people in poverty and distress to create just and positive change through empowering partnerships and responsible action. ADRA Thailand has served vulnerable and marginalized people in Thailand through community development initiatives targeting Food Security, Economic Development, Primary Health and Education. ADRA Thailand’s emergency response initiatives provide aid to disaster survivors and people fleeing active conflict from Myanmar.

ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Human Resources Coordinator based in Chiang Mai,Thailand.

 

Job Overview:

Under supervision of the Country Director, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for routine functions of Human Resources including support of recruitment, staff compensation, benefits, leave, performance management and enforcing company policies and practices.

 

REPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Coordinate and administer the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, contract preparation, performance management, staff development, and separation processes in collaboration with managers and directors.
  • Maintain accurate and complete HR records, personnel files, staff databases, contact lists, leave records, and timesheets, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate payroll processes, employee benefits administration, Social Security Fund, Provident Fund, insurance, and other staff welfare programs.
  • Manage all expatriate staff visa, work permit, and immigration requirements, including applications, renewals, reporting obligations, expiry tracking, government submissions, and liaison with relevant authorities.
  • Prepare and submit HR-related documentation, reports, letters, and requests to government agencies and other external stakeholders as required.
  • Coordinate staff communications regarding employment conditions, compensation, benefits, policies, and HR procedures, providing guidance and support to employees and supervisors.
  • Support and facilitate employee performance reviews, capacity-building initiatives, training programs, and professional development activities.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture by supporting employee relations, conflict resolution, grievance processes, and non-discriminatory employment practices.
  • Coordinate HR-related administrative processes including staff identification cards, business cards, email account management, medical checkups, payment requests, and other employee support services.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, government agencies, service providers, and external partners to support HR operations and organizational compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with ADRA policies, HR procedures, labor regulations, and donor or government requirements, including maintaining foundation registration and reporting obligations where applicable.
  • Serve as the Safeguarding Officer, supporting the implementation of safeguarding policies, promoting safeguarding awareness, and reporting safeguarding concerns in accordance with ADRA's Safeguarding Framework.
  • Represent the Human Resources function in internal meetings and at project sites as required. Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in human resources management, business administrative or related field 

 

Experience:

  • At least 5-years experience in relevant experience in HR and administrative field 

 

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in spoken and written Thai and English

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Holder of a valid Thai ID
  • Ability to work in a Christian context
  • Ability to successfully develop a human resource database and systems
  • Experience in visa extension and work permit application and renewal
  • Understanding of diversity in working environment
  • Ability to handle work efficiently and accurately under time constrains
  • Strong computer skills (Including Microsoft Office proficiency)
  • Excellent public relation and communication skills
  • Hands on and able to perform work independently
  • Good understanding on NGO Programs and Finance
  • Valid driver’s license is required
