Join Us as Program Officer

Location: Mae Sot | Status: Consultant | Report to: Program Coordinator

Are you a professional passionate about making a difference? REACH for Equity is seeking a Program Officer who will be based in Mae Sot, Thailand and is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing project activities, including training, partner engagement, reporting, and budget management in line with project work plans and donor requirements. This role provides technical, administrative, and financial support to partners while contributing to monitoring, evaluation, and overall program effectiveness. This position will report to Program Coordinator.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor degree equivalent to social science, development studies, public health, project management or other relevant qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a background of GBV, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), and SRHR related activities
• A fluent of writing, speaking and reading Karen Language (especially Sagaw Karen) and Burmese are essential
• Demonstrated experience in community engagement, training, and capacity building
• Demonstrated skills in coordination and collaboration with ethnic health organizations (EHOs), and community-based organizations (CBOs)
• Good communication and facilitations skills
• Able to work in a multicultural context on a tight schedule.
• Good knowledge of computer skills in M.S, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills and positive attitude.
• Prefer experience of working in Karen state with ethnic health organizations (EHOs).
