Location: Mae Sot | Status: Full Time | Report to: Senior Program Manager

 

Are you a professional passionate about making a difference? REACH for Equity is seeking a Program Manager who will be based in Mae Sot, Thailand and is responsible for leading the daily implementation and coordination of health system strengthening projects, ensuring effective service delivery, stakeholder collaboration, and inclusion of gender-sensitive and community-driven approaches. It also includes managing budgets, monitoring performance, supervising staff, supporting partners, and producing reports to ensure timely, high-quality project execution and continuous improvement. This position will report to Senior Program Manager.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Public Health, or a related field; Master’s degree (MPH or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in health program management in international or complex humanitarian/development settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) programming, including both technical design and implementation oversight.
  • Proven experience in strategic coordination and partnership management with local CSOs, ECBHOs, government counterparts, and community stakeholders.
  • Strong experience in program oversight, including planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, and performance management.
  • Fluency in Myanmar and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate high-level workshops, stakeholder engagements, and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex contexts and guide program direction accordingly.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in complex, conflict-affected, and culturally diverse environments, with strong leadership and team management capabilities.
