Job title: Administrative & Finance Officer
Number of post: 1
Duty station: Bangkok, Thailand
Application deadline: 13th March 2026
Work starting date: 1st April 2026
Period of service: 1st April 2026 - 30th March 2027 including a 3-month probationary period
Principal responsibilities:
- To lead administrative tasks related to office maintenance/utilities, registration, visa, travel arrangement, legal issues, and record keeping;
- To prepare official letters and monthly reports for submission to external organizations including the government counterparts and donors;
- To translate and interpret from and into Thai and English
- To prepare monthly financial documents including making voucher sheets and other financial transactions;
- To ensure that all regular office expenses are paid in an appropriate and timely fashion;
- To procure office items and project goods/services according to donor requirements and the organizational Procurement Policy;
- To perform any other administrative and finance tasks as assigned by international staff.
Knowledge, skills, attitudes and experience required:
- University degree with a minimum of 5 years of previous work experience in a similar position, preferably with foreign firms/organizations;
- Native-level proficiency in Thai language (both written and speaking) and excellent command of English (both written and speaking) are required. Knowledge of Burmese will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Thai administrative systems, labor regulations, and ability to support coordination with government authorities and Bangkok-based stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience with financial auditing is desirable;
- Experience working in the humanitarian sector with an understanding of humanitarian principles and ethics is a plus;
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and social media applications;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team as well as to work independently with minimum supervision;
- Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy;
- Sensitivity to confidential matters and security issues;
- Readiness to comply with all laws and PWJ rules and regulations.
Remuneration: Approximately 30,000 THB, depending on experience.
