About the Role
The SRP Knowledge & Learning Manager has primary responsibility for planning, developing, and implementing the Knowledge & Learning strategy, the collection and presentation of relevant data, information, and driving learning outcomes. Working with the communications team ensures that there is an evidence-based narrative that supports the adoption and implementation of the SRP standards. They oversee the Knowledge & Learning unit staff and budget.
About the Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP)
SRP Thailand serves as the secretariat office for the Sustainable Rice Platform e.V. (SRP), leading the promotion and implementation of the SRP Standard, related tools, guidance, and training programs. The office works closely with national stakeholders to accelerate adoption, strengthen local capacity, and deliver measurable impact at scale across Thailand’s rice sector.
SRP is a multi-stakeholder alliance with over 100 institutional members from government, private sector, research, civil society, and finance. As a not-for-profit association, it works to transform the rice sector by improving smallholder livelihoods and advancing sustainable rice production.
SRP promotes resource efficiency and climate resilience in rice systems through voluntary standards, performance indicators, and market-based incentives that drive the adoption of climate-smart best practices.

Tasks and Responsibilities
The staff member will be responsible for:
Knowledge & Learning Strategy
Develop and implement a strategy for the Knowledge & Learning unit that supports SRP’s overall strategy and ensures that members and partners have access to data-driven, compelling, and relevant learning opportunities.
Ensure that the focus is encouraging and supporting learning outcomes for members, partners, and SRP staff.
Knowledge Hub
Establish and maintain a “Knowledge” Hub as an accessible resource centre for information, online training, and other multi-media information that supports the adoption & implementation of the SRP standards.
Identify and maintain relevant software, applications, and platforms that underpin and deliver the Knowledge & Learning strategy
Training
Working with other units in SRP, develop relevant training programmes that support the adoption and implementation of SRP standards
Identify and support training delivery partners and training of trainers, to deliver SRP training packages
Identify and maintain relevant online training and information resources that support the overall SRP strategy
Monitoring & Evaluation
Working with the Assurance and Partnerships teams ensures that SRP has an appropriate strategy for the monitoring & evaluation of our own activities
Ensure that relevant monitoring information is collated and presented to enable effective oversight of SRP activities
As required from time to time and in agreement with the SRP ED, design and oversee evaluative exercises that help SRP assess progress towards goals and objectives.
Work with the Secretariat team and external consultants as needed to ensure that SRP offers tools & guidance for members and partners to monitor and evaluate their adoption and implementation of the SRP standards
Ensure that SRP collates analyses and shares the outcomes of members’ and partners adoption & implementation of the SRP standards
Reporting
Ensure that SRP creates evidence-based and compelling reports for use by SRP, members, and partners
Working with the communications and membership unit provides knowledge collateral to support SRP’s communications and media activity
Unit management
Identify, recruit, and support unit team members to deliver the unit’s strategy and objectives
Ensure team members are supported, are aware of, and follow established policy and procedures
Ensure annual plans and individual objectives are developed and monitored.
Create and monitor a budget for the unit, contributing to the overall SRP budgeting and financial monitoring process
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses (or the equivalent of):
Degree in a discipline relevant to the role, e.g., research, development management, information management, communications. A further degree in a similar area or equivalent experience is desirable.
Minimum of five years of professional experience in a management role, delivering knowledge and learning related outcomes
Demonstrated experience in undertaking monitoring and evaluation exercises, or overseeing such exercises
Experience working with a membership organization or engaging a wide variety of stakeholders
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to seek all relevant information, liaise with stakeholders, and analyse issues from different perspectives.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, internet, database).
Experience in supervising high-performing teams
Previous experience in multi-stakeholder coordination in the international development context will be an advantage
Knowledge of agricultural supply chains will be an advantage
