We are a community-focused organization which specializes in training educators, particularly in the adult education sector, and developing context-appropriate quality educational materials for youth and adults, including migrant and refugee groups.

 

About the Job

The HR Officer will be responsible for managing recruitment processes, assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies in compliance with Thai labor laws, supporting employee engagement initiatives, performance appraisal and handling conflict resolution. This role also provides overall support in day-to-day HR operations and employee relations matters.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assistance in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  • Responsible for the recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for the performance management systems, conduct employee evaluations, and provide feedback
  • Coordinate and the preparation, review, and administration of employee and consultancy contracts processes
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Check and verify employee medical reimbursement claims in accordance with medical policy

 

Employee Relations:

  • Participate in addressing employee concerns and grievances, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Participate in mediating and resolving conflicts between employees, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.

 

Compliance and Legal:

  • Stay informed about labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with legal requirements.

 

Employee Engagement: 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives to boost employee morale, satisfaction, and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and attendance records.

 

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business Administration or a related field experience  
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in HR, preferably in NGOs or donor-funded projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, Thai labor laws, and  procedures.
  • Proven ability to oversee and manage HR process
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office  
  • Fluency in written and spoken Thai and English
