Job Title: AUN Progamme Officer (PO)

Duty Station: Office of the ASEAN University Network Secretariat, Bangkok, Thailand

As a Programme Officer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing AUN programmes/projects/activities. You will have the opportunity to showcase your project management expertise, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities that shape the future of education. As AUN programmes interact with partners in ASEAN and beyond, there will be a chance for overseas missions. 

Qualifications

1. Degree/Years of Experience: 

• Master's degree in Social Science, Art and Humanities or a closely related field, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Art and Humanities or a closely related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

2. English Proficiency: Fluent in both verbal and written English, enabling effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

3. Nationality Requirement: Thai Citizenship

• Ability to travel abroad
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Be able to effectively work in many environments, including remote and on-site (at the office or when hosting international activities)  
• Proficiency in a 3rd language (Chinese, Japanese, Bahasa, etc.) is an advantage

Contact Hours: 

Monday-Friday , 09.00 – 17.00 (GMT 7):  the AUN Secretariat is a result-oriented organization. 

Remuneration: 

Competitive starting salary range of 30,000-33,000 THB

Contract: 

One-year contract with the potential for extension

Recruitment Process

The written exam and interview will be held on the same day and will last around 4-5 hours. The result will be announced within 24 hours.
