As our Manager of Accounting, you will provide strategic leadership and daily oversight to our accounting team. You’ll ensure the integrity of our financial systems, support internal stakeholders with expert financial guidance, and help us steward resources with excellence as we serve children in poverty in Jesus’ name.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals through coaching, performance management, and capacity building.
• Oversee general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and month/year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and manage external audits.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on financial systems and reporting.
• Partner with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Manage departmental budgets and ensure alignment with Compassion’s financial policies.
• Uphold and model Compassion’s Christ-centered mission and child protection standards

What we are looking for 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification desirable but not required
• Strong experience in: Accounting and financial reporting, Taxation and external audit, People management and team leadership Can communicate well in English
• Ability to work at a pace and adapt in a dynamic, growing environment.
