Job Title: In-house Consultant
Office Location: JICA THAILAND OFFICE
31st floor, Exchange Tower, 388 Sukhumvit Road, Klongtoey Bangkok 10110, THAILAND
Contract Period:
- 6 - 7 month fixed-term contract
- Starting from the beginning of September 2025 – March 2026
Salary and Benefits, etc.:
- THB 40,000 – 55,000 per month (depending on the experience and qualification)

Job Description:
Main responsibilities are as follows:
- Propose methods and improve the existing JICA database of JICA long-term Knowledge Co-creation Program (KCCP) partcipants, both current participants and alumni for the database to become updated, user-friendly for JICA internal use, with privacy information protection.
- Based on the database, make analysis via surveys and interviews on how the long-term KCCP programs could be improved to encourage active engagement with JICA participants and alumni. From the surveys and interviews, make summary and reports in formats that can be used in the future.
- Gather information about JICA long-term KCCPs and related information (e.g. JICA alumni associations, alumni networks) in other countries, and make analysis and suggestions for JICA Thailand to engage with JICA participants and alumni.
- Conduct JICA long-term KCCP gatherings for JICA current participants and alumni both in on-site and online platforms based on consultations with Chief Representative, and relevant staffs.
- Based on the surveys and interviews, create PR materials (e.g. newsletter, brochures) to promote understanding of JICA long-term KCCP to general public.
· Assist Japanese and Thai staffs in charge of JICA long-term KCCP scholarships in every step of procedure from contacting the candidates, interviews, orientation, prior-consultation and supporting visa application.
· Assist in follow-up and monitoring of the current JICA participants in Japan
- Engage with JICA PR activities such as creating and procuring JICA Thailand’s PR materials, and coordinating and preparing for JICA events, booths setup, as well as participating in the JICA PR events within the contract period.
- Carry out other tasks and duties as instructed by the Chief Representative, Senior Representative or other designated staff members in JICA Thailand Office.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Nationality: Thai
- Academic background: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Major not specified).
· Language: High level of communication skills to conduct interviews, survey. Ability to make written summary and analysis in English.
Ref: TOEIC 780, TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
- IT skills: Data management, Microsoft Office, design applications for PR materials, experience with database creation is a plus
- Others: Detail-oriented, high interpersonal skills, positive and forward-looking mindset, ability to work in a team setting, ability to manage tasks and priorities to meet deadlines, ability to propose ideas and realize those initiatives on his/her own / Experience in working under an alumni association is a plus
