The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) collects information about applicants during the application process. The information is collected in two ways.
1. The information shared by you.
This is information you provide through completing forms during the application process, or the information contained in any file you may have shared with IRRI.
2. The information provided by referees.
This is information collected from your former employer(s), supervisors, or colleagues.
IRRI takes all possible and necessary precaution to make sure any information you share with IRRI is not compromised or used for a purpose other than the application process.
IRRI processes the information you provide on servers in many countries around the world. The information you provide may be processed on a server located outside the country where you live.
The applicant assumes all associated risks and agrees to hold harmless IRRI and its employees for any shared information that is compromised due to security issues or consequences caused by viruses or hacking.
