Job Opening: Senior Researcher

SAL Forest is looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Researcher to join our team. If you have a strong background in research, a keen interest in sustainability, and enjoy working in a dynamic, small-team environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Plan and execute assigned research projects.
• Provide guidance and coordinate with clients throughout the project.
• Ensure high-quality research outputs and deliverables that meet project requirements.

2. Research & Analysis

• Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports for assigned projects.
• Support and mentor junior researchers in knowledge development, writing, structuring reports, and presentations.

3. Communication & Engagement

• Participate in company workshops and seminars.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance & Banking, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in research.
• Strong project and team management skills with the ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively.
• Experience in both quantitative and qualitative research, including in-depth data analysis and presentation.
• Skilled in interviewing techniques, focus group facilitation, and report writing.
• Proficient in both Thai and English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
• Passionate about sustainability, particularly in:
  • Sustainable finance
  • Business and human rights
  • Sustainability in food supply chains
  • Just energy transition
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player who can also work independently.
• Detail-oriented with flexibility and adaptability.
• Enjoys working in a small organization environment.

Work Arrangement

• Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Hybrid work model: Work from the office twice a week, remote work on other days.
• Office located at Sukhumvit 43, near BTS Phrom Phong.
