Job Title: Researcher

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Job Type: Full-time (5 working days per week; in-office at least 2 days per week)

 

About Climate Finance Network Thailand (CFNT):

The Climate Finance Network Thailand (CFNT) is a think tank and a network of like-minded individuals headquartered in Bangkok, devoted to propelling sustainable financial practices and assisting in Thailand’s transition toward a low-carbon economy in line with 1.5°C climate target. Recognizing the pivotal role of the financial sector in combating climate change, CFNT's primary objective is to help catalyze impactful climate finance through solution-based research, stakeholder engagement, and network building.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conducting research on topics related to sustainable finance, including climate finance and just energy transition.
  • Writing articles and sharing knowledge on CFNT’s Facebook page and website.
  • Working as part of a team at workshops, seminars, and events.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field (a Master's degree in the aforementioned fields is a plus).
  • At least 2 years of work experience, including internships or work experience during studies.
  • Must be residing in Thailand and fluent in the Thai language.
  • Good grasp of financial modeling basics (a corporate finance background is a plus).
  • Keen interest in exploring and learning about new developments related to climate change, energy transition, and/or social finance.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible, self-reliant, and attentive to details.
  • Effective communicator with excellent English and Thai speaking and writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Enjoys working in a small organizational setting.

 

Please note that this is a hybrid position - we expect you to work in the office at least 2 days per week. Our office is based in Bangkok, Thailand (Phrom Phong area).
