Timeframe: March 2024 – May 2024
Background:
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Thailand Counter Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) Activity implemented by Winrock International aims to reduce TIP in Thailand and to better protect the rights of trafficked persons. The USAID Thailand CTIP Activity is a ten-year activity, entering its seventh year of implementation. The USAID Thailand CTIP Activity will host an event to showcase the local system strengthening activities undertaken in the preceding years, while also providing a platform for practitioners and partners working in CTIP to discuss and exchange experiences on using best practices and lessons learned in combatting TIP.
The goal of this learning event is to ensure that all participants feel encouraged to share their thoughts and that people from different sectors feel more connected. In addition to knowledge sharing, this event will act as a networking opportunity for participants to foster favorable relations, which will benefit them for future collaboration. The event will feature keynote speakers, presentations, and panel discussions while highlighting previous case studies and success stories of the USAID Thailand CTIP Activity and their partners.

USAID Thailand CTIP Activity is looking to hire an individual consultant or an organization to help design, coordinate, facilitate, and support logistics to conduct a successful event. The USAID Thailand CTIP Activity will provide the consultant with all relevant information and serve as a liaison to support the consultant’s engagement with speakers, participants, and other relevant parties. The consultant will be expected to provide input on program design, speaker coaching, technical facilitator time, and event management. The consultant will also facilitate an engaging and informative discussion and create an event report. The event is anticipated to be a half-day event in May.
