The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And its girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 85 years and are now active in more than 80 countries.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting time for Plan International as we implement our global strategy for 2021-2024. Our global strategy defines who we are, why we exist, the change we want to see in the world and how we will contribute to making change happen. It underpins everything we do, guiding all our work in all parts of the federation.

To achieve greater change in children’s lives we are dramatically transforming how we operate, and we need bold, forward-thinking and innovative Human Resources Staff to steer our operations, driving change and delivering results that will allow us to transform the lives of 100 million girls globally.

In this exciting HR role, you will work as part of Plan International’s Asia Pacific (APAC) Regional Hub,  under the management of the Regional Human Resources and OD Partner, to provide key HR operational support to both the  Asia Pacific Region and the Asia Pacific Hub staff.

  • Support case management of workplace safeguarding cases, and take the lead in some cases
  • Take a leading role in end-to-end recruitment for a number of roles
  • Acts as the Asia Pacific Hub focal point coordinator on specific initiatives with regards to team-building, staff meetings, gender equality and inclusion, among others
  • Take a leading role on issues of reward
  • HR administrative activities
  • Additional duties as required
