Activity Description:
The purpose of the USAID Partnerships for Green Investment (PGI) activity, hereafter referred to as the “Activity” is employing nature-based solutions across Southeast Asia to achieve greater emissions reductions, climate resilience, biodiversity protection, inclusiveness, and benefit sharing. Specifically, this Activity will advance systemic change in the agricultural, forestry and other land use (AFOLU) sector in the region to reduce greenhouse gas emissions at meaningful scale through inclusive and sustainable approaches, accelerating the region’s transition to net zero economies. In addition, the activity will improve biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and human well-being as additional outcomes.
Candidates are expected to have some experience in the project’s three core objectives:
governance (ESG) standards for low emission, biodiversity conservation, and climate resilience investments; and
Deloitte is seeking technical specialists based in Thailand or another country covered by USAID's Bangkok-based Regional Development Mission for Asia (RDMA), including Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Vietnam. Applicants should be mid- to senior-level experts with experience in one or more of the following technical areas:
