Regional IT Support & Network Manager
Starting date of position – as soon as possible
Together as a team, we at Child’s Dream are here to empower people in the Mekong Sub-Region. We do this by working in partnerships with communities to improve the health and education of their children, youth and young adults for sustainable development.
Our current Regional IT Support and Network Manager needs your support to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure across all our Child’s Dream offices in Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. Under the supervision of the Regional Operations Director, you make sure that all users can effectively use their IT equipment and systems without disruptions and that the Child’s Dream networks and servers operate efficiently, securely and with minimal interruptions.
Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide assistance to end-users or employees with their computer hardware, software, and network-related issues including troubleshooting, user assistance, installation and configuration, maintenance, documentation, and remote support
- Endpoint security and manageability, ensuring all devices accessing our systems and network are patched, updated, monitored and with appropriate access controls and anti-malware protections
- Overseeing and maintaining Child’s Dreams network infrastructure including network maintenance and improvement, network security, network monitoring, network troubleshooting, network upgrades and expansion, and network documentation
- Administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Windows and SQL servers including server installation and configuration, user management, security management, monitoring and performance optimisation, backup and disaster recovery, and server documentation.
- Ensure the required uptime and availability of our systems, network and applications
- Provide additional IT support as needed
We are seeking for a person who meets the following criteria:
Education and work experience
- a strong interest in working for an NGO and to contribute to our vision and mission
- associate’s degree in IT or other industry recognised certifications
- at least 3 years of relevant working experience in IT related field
Hard skills
- knowledge and appropriate experience on diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, server and network-related issues efficiently
- demonstrate experience on networking infrastructure and concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting
- experience with remote desktop support tools to assist users and manage and access servers from a distance
- experience with server configuration, management and maintenance (including file and directory management, user account management)
Soft skills

- advanced written and spoken English language skills
- preferably Thai mother tongue
Other requirements
- availability on call for any urgent IT issues which may arise
- occasional travel to other offices
