Job Purpose

Project: Addressing the Needs of Vulnerable Migrants within the Humanitarian, Development and Peace Nexus (HDPN) in Thailand

Supported by IOM. Time frame 1 May – 31 Dec’23

The project aims to promote equitable and inclusive societies where migrants, mobile populations, and communities are able to access essential services and have decent work. Activities focus on assisting Myanmar nationals, the largest migrant population in Thailand who are also affected by the ongoing crisis in their home country. Mindful of the complex humanitarian and development challenges, this project will work within the HDPN and apply a rights-based and human security approach to ensure that the protection and rights of migrants are respected and that they are able to live in equitable, inclusive societies, whilst accessing essential services and have decent work.

Major Responsibilities

• Interpret creative briefs to write original copy and edit content for a variety of media including online, print, and video to support fundraising campaigns  ตีความจากใบชี้แจงรายละเอียดงาน (Creative Brief) เพื่อเขียนต้นฉบับและปรับคอนเทนต์เพื่อใช้ประกอบสื่อหลากหลายรูปแบบ ทั้งออนไลน์ งานสิ่งพิมพ์ และวิดีโอ เพื่อสนับสนุนแคมเปญระดมทุน
• Provide support to and collaborate intently with key internal teams including Advocacy, Programmes, Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs (HEA), Grants and Acquisition Management and Resources Development to gather ministry and fundraising-related contents, including photos and videos in the area programmes. สนับสนุนและร่วมงานกับทีมงานหลักภายในองค์กร เช่น Advocacy ทีมปฏิบัติการ (Programme) ทีมบรรเทาทุกข์ฉุกเฉิน (HEA) ทีมกองทุนพิเศษ (GAM) และกลุ่มงานพัฒนาทรัพยากร (RD) เพื่อเก็บข้อมูลทำคอนเทนต์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับพันธกิจและการระดมทุน ซึ่งรวมถึงภาพนิ่งและวิดีโอในพื้นที่โครงการด้วย
• Drive brand consistency across the organization’s communications  ผลักดันการนำเสนอแบรนด์ไปในแนวทางเดียวกันทั้งองค์กรผ่านการสื่อสารอย่างสอดคล้องไปในทิศทางเดียวกันกัน
• Utilizing World Vision content platforms like Content Flow, Story Hub, wvrelief.net to deliver raw content such as but not limited to QAs, news/feature stories, videos, photos, Support Office/media visit, etc.  ใช้ช่องทางแพลตฟอร์มงานคอนเทนต์ต่างๆ ของศุภนิมิตได้ เช่น Content Flow, Story Hub, wvrelief.net เพื่อแบ่งปันชิ้นงานดิบต่างๆ กับศุภนิมิตสากล เช่น ชุดคำถาม-คำตอบ ข่าว/บทความ เรื่องราว วิดีโอ ภาพถ่าย งานเยี่ยมพื้นที่ของ Support Office/กิจกรรมนำสื่อลงพื้นที่ เป็นต้น

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Development or Mass Communications/ Journalism or equivalent.
• Native/Fluent Thai speaker,upper-intermediate English speaker, fluency preferred.
• Use a PRIVATE camera and equipment for working.
• Preferably with industry experience in Advertising and/or NGO/humanitarian work.
• A rich portfolio of sample works used for creative marketing or fundraising campaigns.
• At least 2 years in jobs of communication, public relation, or advertising.
• Good skill in photo shooting and producing clip VDO.
• Ability to conduct training for grass root people to use smartphones for photo shooting, clip VDO production, and posting on social media platforms.  
• Experience with advice for IEC production and printing.
• Creation IEC produces and clips videos to reach target audiences.
• Control and analyze data on project social media platforms.
• Advise people to take action on social media platforms.
• Advise people on PDPA law and make online safety.
• Experience working with migrant populations and understanding the challenges of migrants.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Good relationship with partners, and staff and accept different thinking.
• Strong storyteller; exceptional written skills in news and feature write ups มีทักษะการเล่าเรื่องดี สามารถเขียนข่าวและบทความได้ดีเยี่ยม
• Good ability and advanced photography and portraiture principles , video production มีทักษะพื้นฐานด้านการถ่ายภาพเบื้องต้นและขั้นสูง และความรู้การผลิตวิดีโอ
• Can work on extremely tight deadlines and fast-paced work environment สามารถส่งงานตามกำหนดเร่งด่วนในสภาพแวดล้อมการทำงานที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงรวดเร็ว
• Client-oriented, detail-oriented, fluid with imagination and creative ideas, and willing to collaborate  สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้า ใส่ใจรายละเอียด มีจินตนาการกว้างไกลและความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และยินดีทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่น
