The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) seeks to appoint a:

Title:               Human Resources Intern 
Reports to:      Human Resources Assistant
Duration:         2 months (as soon as possible)

Purpose:
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) is the world’s largest volunteer-based humanitarian network, reaching 150 million people each year through our 189 member National Societies. Together, we act before, during and after disasters and health emergencies to meet the needs and improve the lives of vulnerable people. We do so with impartiality as to nationality, race, gender, religious beliefs, class and political opinions.

The IFRC Southeast Asia delegation is seeking an intern to track the trainings/meetings/workshops of 2015 in Southeast Asia organized by SEA Regional Delegation and track the trainings/workshops that IFRC SEA staff have been participated, in particular the creation and production of a reporting with an efficient and easy-to-digest format to support the senior management team.

Job duties and responsibilities
The HR Intern will work with the HR team to complete the database as follows: 
•    Gather the trainings/meetings/workshops information of 2015 by collecting the participant list of trainings, meetings and workshops in Southeast Asia from all units. 
•    Insert the information into MS Excel template with accuracy according the guideline of HR Assistant
•    Create the report template or support the HR Assistant  for the reporting as required

Qualifications, experience and skills required: 
•    Currently-enrolled in a university degree or extensive experience in communications, community media management, TV, radio or print and/or international community development or have graduated recently (within 1 year from the date of hiring)
•    Experience in creation a database (MS Excel)
•    Good command in spoken and written English
•    Prefer experience in researcher
•    Prefer Red Cross Red Crescent experience
•    Excellence in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•    Administrative skills are required
•    Ability to multi task and work under pressure
