Introduction
The Borderland Health Foundation (BHF) is a non-for-profit, non-confessional and non-political organization, registered in Thailand. The Foundation is linked to a field station of the Mahidol - Oxford University Research Unit (SMRU Clinics) which are located in Mas Sot, Mae Ramat, Phob Phra, Tha Song Yang and Umphang districts in Tak province, Thailand. BHF works with marginalized populations along Thailand-Myanmar border by focusing on health care services and public health issues with its focus on malaria, tuberculosis, and maternal and child health.
Job Summary: A Content Creator Assistant who specializes in crafting engaging content for social media platforms. Content Creator Assistant have to responsible for creating and curating content for various social media posts, including Facebook posts, images, and videos. Additionally, you may also assist the media group with design tasks. Your role will involve collaborating with the internal, external, and working closely with the Media Group leader, and ensuring timely delivery of scheduled and published posts.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
Text-based content
Image-based content
The content creator assistant will be assisting a content creator with photography, creating posters, handbooks, illustrators, graphic design, etc.
Video-based content
Assist in writing a script, recording audio, editing audio, and creating a finished audio file and he/she will collaborate closely with the video editor and the SMRU/BHF Media Group.
Assist in the creation and editing of various types of content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, videos, infographics, and other visual assets.
Assisting the content creator to formulate and hosting interviews in various formats. He/She may be Q&A sessions performed through email, discussions, or even in-person interviews, recorded and produced into new content.
Assist the video editor to produce consistent, high-quality photos and videos.
Perform other media activities as assigned by SMRU/BHF media group supervisor.
Requirements, skills, and qualifications:
Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere editing software.
3+ years of experience in multi-platform content creation.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to meet short deadlines, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently, as well as a valuable member of a team, and flexible to travel in the fields with the SMRU/BHF media group.
Highly organized with strong time management skills
Proven work experience as a Content writer/Creator or similar role.
Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
A content creator assistant must understand how well their content performs, how to change it to perform better, and how to develop reports on that performance for the people who make decisions above them.
Good command of written and verbal Karen, Thai, and English.
Burmese language skills would be an asset
