DigiServe believes that growing missional organizations need support utilizing IT strategically and effectively. Through creating digital products and equipping IT leaders, DigiServe enables missional organizations in Thailand to leverage IT to increase their capacity to accomplish their mission. By providing software and digital services to social agencies, we will help build capacity to provide a higher quality of care. Our desire is to focus on orphanages and children at risk, developing and then deploying the Child At Risk System for FCF and several other groups in Chiang Mai. We will work closely with other types of Foundations in order to provide custom software and IT services that will best benefit them. Mission: Accelerate the spread of the Gospel by enabling missional organizations to leverage IT through digital products and equipping IT leaders.
Target : You can’t scale a ministry with a pen, paper and a fear of computers. Limited resources and a lack of expertise leaves many organizations unable to scale their complex, manual systems. We believe modern technology is a gift from God that can accelerate the reach of those serving the least fortunate throughout Northern Thailand. DigiServe helps Thai ministries use technology well.
Job Description
Reporting to the Governing Board, the Project Director will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for DigiServe’'s staff, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. He will initially develop deep knowledge of core programs, operations, and business plans. He must be a Christian and have some ministry experience.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate a Christ-like attitude of servanthood, encouragement and love in alignment with the whole of biblical principles outlined in the FCF Statement of Faith.
Leadership & Program Management:
- Ensure ongoing local programmatic excellence, rigorous program evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising, communications, and systems; recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals.
- Actively engage and energize DigiServe volunteers, board members, event committees, alumni, partnering organizations, and funders.
- Develop, maintain, and support a strong Governing Board; serve as ex-officio of each committee; seek and build board involvement with strategic direction for both ongoing local operations as well as for the national rollout.
- Lead, coach, develop, and retain DigiServe's core management team
- Ensure effective systems to track scaling progress, and regularly evaluate program components, so as to measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the board, funders, and other constituents.
- Specifically, FCF requires: “Project Directors choose and lead their teams, fundraise for their projects, do strategic planning, and are responsible for reporting annual goals and budgets, quarterly board minutes, and monthly expense reports to FCF. These are all subject to approval by FCF as a basic level of accountability.”
Fundraising & Communications:
- Expand local revenue generating and fundraising activities to support existing program operations and regional expansion.
- Deepen and refine all aspects of communications—from web presence to external relations with the goal of creating a stronger brand.
Operations
- Expense Management: Ensure that Office and Ministry expenses are paid and the proper bookkeeping is done in accordance to FCF expectations.
- Personnel Management: Ensure new staff have proper job descriptions and adequate salaries
- Office Management: Ensure the Office and the environment are well maintained.
Planning & New Business:
- Design the national expansion and complete the strategic business planning process for the program expansion into new markets.
- Begin to build partnerships in new markets, establishing relationships with the funders, and political and community leaders at each expansion site.
- Be an external local and national presence that publishes and communicates program results with an emphasis on the successes of the local program as a model for regional and national replication.

Qualifications
The Director will be thoroughly committed to DigiServe's mission. All candidates should have proven leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience. He must be a Christian and have some ministry experience.
Specific requirements include:
- Thai citizen
- Christianity
- Excellent In English
- Advanced degree, ideally an MDiv or MBA with at least 3 years of experience leading an organization, or at least 10 years of senior management experience; track record of effectively leading and regionally and/or nationally scaling a performance- and outcomes-based organization and staff; ability to point to specific examples of having developed and operationalized strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Comp Sci, Information System Management or related technical major
- Prefer someone who speaks Thai
- Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation
- Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, manage, and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget
- Past success working with a Board of Directors with the ability to cultivate existing board member relationships
- Strong marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills
- Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and innovative approach to business planning
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
- Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
