CCM (Communication, Campaign and Media) Support Service (Part Time)

Background

The department of the Advocacy, Communication, Campaigns and Media is to support the development and implementation of Save the Children Thailand’s advocacy and communication & campaign strategies. This is an important piece of work because of strategic public and media engagement to influence policy makers and the public to achieve outcomes for children.

The post holder will be an experienced person in supporting the production and development of communications materials that are necessary for communication with the public, donors, stakeholders, government, beneficiaries and Save the Children staff members, including written, multimedia, social media and digital assets in both Thai and English language. S/he will be mainly responsible for managing Save the Children (Thailand) Foundation’s online presence, ensuring that our digital and social media platforms are active and engaging, regularly monitored and updated. S/she will ensure that our online ‘touch-points’ accurately and strategically communicate our vision, branding and country ACCM goals.

The Communications and Campaign Officer will be responsible for the implementation of digital campaigns while assisting with key offline campaigning plans. In addition, s/he will facilitate in the organization of events, emergency responses, and selected regional/global Save the Children movements as required by his/her line manager.

Management

This position will report to the Advocacy, Communication, Campaign and Media Manager

Time frame

Monday to Friday (Flexible Time), March - June 2023

Payment

Monthly rate of THB 20,000.00.  Payment will be made upon the receipt of an invoice monthly for actual working days on timesheet for each month.

Qualification:

1. Experience in coordinating the production of multi-media content with an ability to test, analyze and update content strategy based on emerging trends.
2. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organization to develop effective working relationships to deliver outstanding results for children.
3. Experience in developing an integrated communication strategy to support campaign and advocacy outcomes.
4. Ability to uphold all Save the Children policies and procedures, especially with respect to child safeguarding, anti-harassment, counter-fraud, and safety and security.
5. Excellent personal organization skills, including time management, and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
6. Ability to deliver key messages on social media.
7. Excellent Thai and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
