1. Position Identification
Position Title: Project Coordinator
Division/Department:
Reporting to: Project Manager, Sustainable Consumption and Production
Employment duration : 12-month with possibility to extend
Background and Purposes:
The Sustainable consumption and production Project (SCP) is a four-year project, starting from June 2022. The project aims to reduce emissions and increase adaptation and resilience to climate change through the implementation of complementary interventions that focus on connecting sustainable production to consumption to transform elements and behaviors in the food system, agri-food sector. Interventions focus on increasing urban consumers' knowledge and awareness of the linkage between consumption choices and environmental impacts to trigger behavior change, co-developing models, strategies, innovations and collaborative approaches to integrate measures for SCP with the private sector, providing knowledge to government, farmers and value chain actors on a range of sustainable practices (e.g., regenerative agriculture and agroecological practices) to substitute harmful production practices and promoting their collaborative take up, and lastly, promote the integration of SCP measures and a sustainable food systems approach in multilateral policy processes.
2. Major Role Responsibilities
1. In charge for the implementation and coordination of activities of project relating to planning, research, investigation, field surveys, workshops, and development of progress report and information, as well as financial report in relating to ground activities of the project.
2. Responsible for the tasks of primary research, analysis of data and provide the recommendations and framework in relation to the project.
3. Engage and coordinate with companies, local producers, consumers and implement consumer campaign with communication team and team members to promote sustainable consumption and production principles and project's initiatives.
4. Manage the project's information, data based, contacts and knowledge, and monitor the progress and measure the success of project's activities.
5. Responsible for producing of reports, factsheets, contents, presentations, and other information materials as needed for the project and communication campaign.
6. Attend in meeting, workshops, and conferences to update the situation and grant the feedback for further plan
7. Coordinate and maintain good relationships through regular contacts with project stakeholders.

3. Working Relationships
Internal :
SCP Project Team: Plan, collaborate and assist in the project implementation, focusing primarily on area-based activities, and report on progress.
Communication: Provide the updated information, content, and collaborate in campaign activities
Other departments: Provide necessary technical supports and assistance as required, in order to create a flow of information, collaborate and working relationship within the organization.
External :
Government: Support coordination and implementation of activities to advance the project action plans, particularly those related to the project.
Business: Establish and maintain relationship with business stakeholders related to the agri-food chain and projects landscape, in terms of facilitation and implementation of activities collaboratively.
Partners: All projects' partners, in addition to the government and business, such as research institution, associations, civil societies, NGOs, CBOs and other experts, to coordinate and collaborate and implement activities.
Partners: Establish and maintain relationship with project's partners related to the agri-food chain and projects landscape, in terms of facilitation and implementation of activities collaboratively.
4. Experience Skills and Competencies
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in agricultural, social sciences, environmental development, forestry, economics or in relevant fields.
Minimum Experiences: 5 years in the field of sustainability, agri-food sector, sustainable agriculture, and others related field.
Mandatory Minimum Language Proficiency Level: English
