Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development NGO founded in Korea in 1991 working in 250 projects, 47 countries, and Good Neighbors (Thailand) Foundation is one of Good Neighbors where the office is located in Bangkok, Thailand.
Good Neighbors (Thailand) Foundation has been supporting education project in Chiang Rai, with cooperation from Office of Basic Education Commission (OBEC) since October 2016, to provide better education opportunities for ethnic minorities and stateless students in the highland’s region.
Good Neighbors (Thailand) Foundation is announcing an advertisement for a vacant position for “Finance Officer”.

1. Job title: Finance Officer
2. Contract Period: Full time contract for 1 year (include 3-months probation)
3. Location: Bangkok Business Center, Sukhumvit 63 Road
4. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper process documentation of all financial transactions
- Ensure process and policy has been followed in regard to procurement
- Address withholding tax filing issues
- Prepare vouchers of payment, receipt and journal entry relating to the approval and finance proceeding
- Ensure all journals, payment vouchers, receipts are promptly entered into the online the QuickBooks system
- Verify the partners’ project expenses against approved budget
- Assess the project partner financial reports and process reimbursements/payments
- Arrange timely fund disbursement to the project partner
- Ensure compliance organizational policy in regards advances for project related
- Arrangement of finance reconcile and monthly financial report
- In charge of year end closing and auditing report
- Undertake other general finance duties as required to facilitate the smooth running of project finance activities
- Assist colleagues in the team and perform other related financial and administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor
5. Qualifications and experience
• Thai Nationality
• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience: Minimum 2 years work experience in a national, regional and/or international NGO on financial management and financial reporting.
• Experience of using an accounting program, QuickBooks software
• Must be a team player and have an ability to work in a multi-cultural context
6. Selection Criteria: Essential
• Familiar with the accounting software (the QuickBooks) is preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English
7. Working Condition
- Starting Date: 1 January 2023 (starting date can be determined after discussion)
- Working days: Monday – Friday (5 days)
- Working hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (Monday to Thursday) / 08:30-16:00 (Friday)
