Position Title: Temporary Travel and Logistics Coordinator

Organization: Pact

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Position Summary:

Temporary Travel and Logistics Coordinator specifically supports the Mekong Partnership for the Environment project through:

Planning and managing administration elements of events, including training workshops, meetings with project partners, conferences, etc.

Analyzing costs and managing small budgets,

Supporting event participant and staff travel by managing approvals, transportation, lodging, etc.,

Establishing and maintaining relations with preferred vendors, especially for supplies, hotels and transportation,

Contributing to event support as needed for the duration of the event,

Performing other related tasks as needed and assigned.

The position report to: Administration and Logistics Manager

DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT:

The time required for the coordinator is estimated within the period from 03 August – 31 August, 2015.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills

University degree

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent)

Experience with donor-funded programs preferred

A service oriented outlook

Ability to travel with short-notice

Strong written and spoken English
