Duty Station: Mae Sariang town, Mae Hong Son province
Work locations: Mae Sariang and Sob-Moei Districts within the field
Duration: Until July 2023 (with possible extension of contract)
Salary range: 50,000 – 55,000 THB (+benefits)
Main Responsibilities and Duties (shortened version)
Supervise and lead the Thailand Program Support Unit (Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Administration, and IT Officers) to timely provide support to the Program, and reports to HQ.
Supervise and lead finance and logistic teams to ensure correct and efficient implementation support to the program in compliance with Malteser International and donor administrative, finance, logistical and procurement procedures and guidelines.
Responsible for financial monitoring and reporting of all projects within Thailand
Supervise, monitor, and analyze all support unit functions and capacities with an aim to provide guidance on how to improve performance if and where needed.
Provide overall authorization for the support unit functions in support of final approval by the Country Representative.
Carry out capacity development trainings with the support unit teams and/or program team.
Ensure proper filing of financial, logistic and procurement documents in accordance with MI rules and regulations on location an online storage system (one drive and Sharepoint).
Support the Country Representative with budget development, amendments, and consolidations.
Ensure effective financial reporting oversight and support for (local) partners, in close collaboration with relevant senior responsible MI coordinators.
Monitor funding and budgets of partner-implemented activities and ensure that reports are consistent with donor requirement.
Essential Qualifications/Skills:
Master’s degree in business administration, Accounting, and similar preferably with additional training in relevant logistical fields
5-7 year experience working with finance function in development or humanitarian context with UN agencies or INGOs.
5-7 year experience with procurement within development or humanitarian sector.
Experience in working with stock warehouse management, supply chain, inventory control and transport coordination.
Proven experienced in general office administration
Good at and simultaneously focusing admin, finance, and logistic fields
Computer literate especially in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Excellent command of English and Thai, both spoken and written.
Well experienced with online financial reporting systems
Excellent multitasking skills managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Starting date: As soon as possible.
