Consultant/Contract Service for FY23 Promotional Materials Productions Lot1 for
Young Health Programme
Introduction
The Young Health Programme (YHP) is a global initiative that supports and promotes the health and wellbeing of young people (aged 10-24) in marginalised communities worldwide through research, advocacy and on-the-ground programmes focused on the prevention of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Since 2010 Plan International has implemented the YHP in Zambia, Brazil, India, Kenya, Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar.
Plan International is proposing an expansion of the YHP into the selected districts of Bangkok and Samut Prakarn, Thailand, where NCDs pose a significant health threat. The programme aims to prevent and reduce the risk factors which can lead to NCDs, as well as supporting the broader health and rights of young people. The proposed programme will learn from and build on Plan International’s experience of implementing the YHP for the past ten years, as well as experience implementing a broad range of global health programmes.
The programme focuses on the five main risk factors leading to NCDs as identified by the World Health Organisation, including tobacco use, harmful use of alcohol, unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, and air pollution. In addressing the health needs of young people, the YHP takes a holistic approach which mainstreams gender equality and also addresses sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and mental health. The programme will engage strategies including youth empowerment through peer education, community mobilisation, health service strengthening and advocacy. In order for widespread accuracy information, it is essential to communicate the key message of the young health programme to everyone associated with our programme, including those we associated – stakeholders, partners, peer educators and beneficiary.
To communicate with beneficiaries, potential partners, stakeholders and the general public, Plan International is looking for Consultant(s) to produce the promotional materials as specified in section III. Tasks which are all in the line of Young Health Programme. This set of branding, included logo and color, need to be of highest quality and appropriate layout, as they will serve the purpose of advocacy and awareness raising tools for Young Health Programme, Plan International.
