Precious Plastic Bangkok is seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Event Manager who has an interest in environmental issues, sustainability, plastics, and/or recycling. 

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and organize events in accordance with client’s requirements and the project purposes. 

2. Help write, design, produce and distribute PPB educational materials for events and PPB clients.

3. Manage communications between PPB, partners and the public.

4. Provide customer services and take responsibility for sales and marketing activities.

5. Coordinate with PPB staff and oversee all event operations.  

6. Handle relevant financial activities, documents, and paperwork regularly.  

Qualifications:

- Fluency in Thai and professional proficiency in English language.

- Experience in organizing/coordinating events (at any level).

- Good interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Good management skills, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. 

- Have interest in community engagement, public consultations, plastic pollution, recycling.

Desirable skills and experience:

- Experience or interest in business/marketing/sales/finance is a plus. 

- Interest in sustainability, recycling and upcycling is a plus.

- Knowledge of plastics / engineering / recycling processes is a plus.
