Main Purpose of the role
•    Work  on the development and delivery of offline acquisition programmes and their associated supporter journeys, within agreed budgets and timelines. Working in collaboration with World Animal Protection’s wider fundraising team, and our Campaigns, Communications, Supporter Relations teams and our partner agencies.

 

Accountabilities
•    
To plan, budget and manage supporter acquisition and retention / development strategies in line with organisational goals that keep supporters engaged and deliver long term sustainable income for World Animal Protection at budgeted, volumes, ROI KPI’s.
•    The role holder will comply with the organisation’s policies and procedures.

 

Duties and Responsibilities
Functional

•    Provide strategic direction, development and delivery of off line fundraising acquisition channels such as Face2Face and DRTV within agreed budgets and timelines giving.

•    To design, curate and execute automated supporter journeys for newly acquired donors with the objective of building donor loyalty and commitment including, promoting wider and deeper engagement in line with engagement and income growth goals. 

•    Produce annual and rolling 3-year fundraising budgets in line with the corporate objectives of World Animal Protection and to provide reports of actuals against budgets as required

•    Work closely with the Campaigns team to integrate programmatic campaigns and engagements into acquisition and retention / development strategies

•    Work closely with the Communications team to integrate automated communications strategies with wider communications to all supporters that are managed by the Communications team.

•    Work closely with the CRM manager to optimise the current and future utility of the CRM platform to maximise fundraising goals.

•    Manage schedules and processes to ensure timely delivery of acquisition and retention / development projects, involving relevant internal stakeholders and external partners.

•    Arrange and conduct training to external fundraising agencies to fully inform them of World Animal Protection’s work so that interactions with our potential supporters are professional and positive with the best supporter experience at the heart of every conversation.  

•    Help identify, test and evaluate new opportunities and innovations for supporter acquisition and retention. 

•    Monitor, analyse and report on the acquisition performance against budgets and other agreed KPIs including but not limited to, Realised Net Pay 1, preferred payments methods, demographics of newly acquired supporters, timeliness/ quality of on boarding journey as well as the quality of the initial supporter engagement interaction.

•    Keep abreast of fundraising practices, codes of practice and regulatory changes and ensures supporter acquisition activities are carried out is in accordance with the law and to best practice standards that protects the reputation of World Animal Protection. 

•    Contribute to the wider issues and opportunities related to fundraising, campaigning, supporter engagement and other World Animal Protection Thailand objectives.

•    Undertake any other duties that are within the scope of this role, as assigned by the line-manger.

 

Finance
•    Management of a significant budget.
•    Role requires detailed annual and quarterly budgeting.
 

Organisational Responsibilities Skills and Experience
Essential
•    
Acquisition and engagement skills –preferably for fundraising and / or campaigns or significant experience in individual giving acquisition, particularly regular/ recurring giving payments and with an emphasis on using direct marketing strategies.

•    Budget management – working within agreed budgets. 

•    Project Management skills - delivery and reporting of fundraising activities within deadlines and to agreed KPIs.

•    Communication of accurate factual information within World Animal Protection and to external agencies. 

•    Compliance to ensure all external messaging, branding and communications are accurate.

•    Cross team collaboration to support functional scope and wider corporate objectives of World Animal Protection

 

Qualifications
•    Demonstrated results in achieving a high-impact goal
•    Educated to Degree level
•    Three years’ experience in fundraising or campaign management or skills-transferable role 

 

Desirable
•    Fundraising or Direct Marketing qualification
•    Previous experience working in a similar role with the NFP sector or direct marketing agency
