Role Overview: Serve as a Laboratory and Safety Officer in Medical Service Laboratory, Institute of HIV and Research and Innovation (IHRI). Apply good laboratory techniques to support all research and service laboratory testing activities regarding the HIV, STI, and other routine laboratory testing.
Core Accountability & Responsibility:
1. Perform laboratory assays; Specimen Processing, Hematology, Chemistry, Molecular, Serology/Immunology, and Urinalysis; supporting laboratory of Pribta Tangerine Polyclinic at a level adequate to maintain international laboratory accreditation.
2. Maintain quality assurance/quality control data supporting for the above assays. Provide laboratory reagent inventory and ensure that the reagents used within the laboratory are within their expiration date. Ensure that reporting of assayed results are in accurate and timely manner. Maintain and ensure all laboratory equipment/devices are working properly.
3. Conduct all duties and tasks in accordance with all applicable Laboratory Quality. Comply with all applicable Occupational Health and Safety Instructions. Other tasks and duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Medical Technology (with MT license)
2. Minimum of 1 year’ experience in medical technologist role
3. Experience in operation of a scientific or medical laboratory, if in relevant HIV and STI research project is advantage
4. Proven record in implementing the quality laboratory facilities
5. Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and other certificate and Clinical research knowledge is an advantage
6. Good English & Thai language communications, presentation, coaching, and training skills
7. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
8. Strong focus on quality and timely delivery of work
