Purpose of Position:
Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) is a locally registered non-profit foundation. Over the past six years, we've successfully proven our food rescue model to fight food waste in Thailand. We are seeking to expand our operations, hence requiring the assistant in project development as well as the assistant in assisting dependencies. In the coming year we'll be the leading agent in the National Food Bank initiative in Thailand, developing the cloud food bank, food donation matchmaking platform, and expanding our reach to the national level. Through well-strategized and well-funded projects, the position of project officers will be essential to ensure all project development in the foundation develops smoothly and support the overall project management and dependencies in the organization.
Job Description:
- Maintain, and assist in development of the current technical eco-system within the organization.
- Plan operational system workflow for internal training and online-learning session.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders and collect assistant issues according to the needs and project development plans.
- Communicate with key stakeholders and potential sponsors for the platform.
- Seek out the potential proposal in funding sponsorship for the technical environment in the organization.
- Identify technical needs from the internal team and external technical resources to maintain and operate the Cloud Food Bank Platform.
- Response to possible internally and externally troubleshoots and requests and resolve the issues if capable.
- Coordinate internally and externally to ensure the project activities will be effectively conducted as planned.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Thai Nationality
- Bachelor’s Degree in any related field, fresh graduates are welcome
- Fresh Graduates are welcome, 1-2 years of working experience in technical support for NGOs background are advantage
- Service-minded, good problem-solving skill, Can-Do attitude
- Tech-savvy is strong advantage
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks
- Ability to work autonomously in a multi-cultural environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient in Microsoft Software Environment: Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive are advantage
- Proficient in Website Software Environment: CMS System, Firebase, WordPress, and Wix are advantage
- Good command of English both written and spoken
- Good communication and presentation skills, and can work independently
Key Relationships:
- Internal Team: Report to Project Supervisor under Outreach Team, Coordinate with Operations Team, and Local Managers.
- External Stakeholders: Office visitors, Key Stakeholders, and Governmental Agencies
Work Time:
- 40 hours a week, must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
- Vacation 10 days and 14 public holidays.
- Sick leave with doctor’s proof after a 3-day period, up to maximum 30 days.
- Probation period of 90 days.
Compensation:
- Negotiable based on experience.
- Health coverage after probation period of 90 days.
