Administrative Officer – Based in Bangkok
Baan Dek Foundation (BDF) is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious organization based in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. BDF supports access to essential services for more than 1,400 vulnerable children and their families living in construction sites and urban slums every year. Through tailored educational programs and flexible individual support, BDF protects at-risk children and enables families to become self-sustainable to provide opportunities for a better future.
Job Description:
Job Title: Administrative Officer
Type of Contract: Full-time employment position for 1-year (with possibility of extension)
Department: Administration & Office Management
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Expected Start Date: ASAP or February 2022
Responsibilities of the advertised position:
Baan Dek Foundation is currently looking for a professional and dedicated local Administrator who is committed to supporting vulnerable children and communities living in Chiang Mai and Bangkok. The position will work under direct supervision of the Director of PR and HR based in Chiang Mai and the Management team in Bangkok.

Qualifications
Nationality: Thai nationality
Language requirements: Fluent Thai (spoken and written) and English proficient speaking and writing skills.
Education/ Experience:
Degree or experience in any of relevant fields: Administration, office management, accounting, secretarial work.
Minimum 1 year of experience in public relations, office administration is required. Experience in Thai English document translation / positions and accounting related to NGO or social work are considered as assets.
Other skills and competencies:
Committed to social work/child welfare, dedication for non-profit work, communication and human relations skills, teamwork ability, flexibility on working hours, tolerance & human values, highly motivated, positive energy & spirit, ability to work autonomously, ability to understand family situation and conduct assessments.
Working hours: Full time - Monday to Friday with occasional weekend and evenings
Salary & Compensation: Starting at 20,000 THB (to be defined based on experience and qualifications)
