Program Design and Development Manager 1 Position
Position Summary
The Program Design and Development Manager is responsible for devising a country strategy for CCF to uplift the quality of life of disadvantaged children in Thailand. The role is to also ensure strategic program initiatives are developed, well-implemented, and monitored according to the program goals.
Job Description:
Strategic program development
Participate in brainstorming sessions with concerned parties, visiting project sites for observation, gathering relevant information nationally and locally from different sources, and analyzing existing data
Work closely with the Program Implementation Team in writing up the program plan and project models aligning with the country strategy to be submitted to National Director and Board of Directors
Initiate the design, development, and implementation of the NSP/Grant program as well as providing additional comments and suggestions
Work closely with Sponsorship Support Team and Program Implementation Team to ensure CCF’s Child Sponsorship Program is operated properly and in trend, balancing both community needs and sponsor supporting desires.
Oversee the work of Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist in the analysis field implementation and activities linking planning with regular progress reviews
Partnership Engagement
Build productive and professional linkages with strategic partners, for example, Government’s, NGOs, INGOs, private sectors, and other developmental organizations for programming purposes, advocacy, and policy influencing through own network and through:
Create activities for linkage purposes, e.g., sanitation project with support from Ministry of Public Health, etc.,
Provides support to Program Implementation Team on program-related matters to ensure that matters related to program operations are handled in a timely and efficient manner
Knowledge Management
Review and guide the documentation of program reports and lessons learned. Collect and disseminate best practices to CCF’s related teams, for example, SMT, Program Implementation Team, Fundraising Team, Communication Team, and Sponsor Support Team for organization learning and external engagement

Require Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Thailand’s country development plan, especially on issues related to disadvantaged children
- Proven skills in integrating development sectors – education and life skills, health, water, and sanitation, food security
- Leadership with good coordination and presentation skills
- Result-oriented, pro-active, able to work independently with some advises
- Competent in English communications is advantaged
- Digital literate with data analysis skills
Education Requirement
University degree in social development or related fields
At least 5-year experience in development work, experience in child-focused is advantaged
Working Condition
Tasks are required occasionally outside core business hours and 15 percent of field visits
