The Bangkok Office of the Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation for Freedom (FNF) is hiring a

Regional Communications Officer

FNF is a German Foundation. At home and in 60 countries around the world, we and our partners promote freedom, liberalism, democracy, human rights, pluralism, tolerance, curbing climate change, an open and digital society, capitalism within a social market economy and the rule of law. We are a publicly funded non-profit organization that focuses on civic education. FNF has close ties to Germany´s Free Democratic Party (FDP). We work with government institutions, NGOs, academia, political parties, researchers, students, journalists, activists, start-ups and artists who share our values and want to join us in promoting freedom. In Southeast and East Asia, we have offices in Bangkok, Hanoi, Jakarta, Manila, Seoul, Taipei, and Yangon. We also work in Malaysia. (https://www.freiheit.org/southeast-and-east-asia).

We are looking for a Regional Communications Officer at our Regional Office Southeast and East Asia in Bangkok (Ekkamai), who shall

•  promote FNF´s work in Southeast and East Asia in cooperation with FNF HQ in Germany and the FNF Communications Officers in Hanoi, Jakarta, Manila, Seoul, Taipei and Yangon
• oversee branding and messaging on FNF´s regional social media channels and websites - create and produce or oversee outsourcing of written and digital content, incl. multi-media products, design graphics, print and video promotional materials, reports, fact sheets and other public communications
• provide editorial oversight, incl. copy-editing, fact checking, branding and corporate identity compliance
• be creative and develop new ideas.
