Basic Function: The Partnership Coordination Manager will be responsible to develop and implement the plan and activities of the Partnership Program. The goal of the Partnership model is to scale The Freedom Story’s model through local partners in the community. We plan to do this by mobilizing our activist partners to prevent child trafficking through programmatic adaption to local context. The Partnership Coordination Manager will oversee the process of finding committed local partners and training them in The Freedom Story’s curriculum on child trafficking prevention, as well as providing ongoing capacity building and support for partners throughout program implementation. They will also lead the monitoring and evaluation of the Partnership Program to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the program.

Reports To: Lucy McCray, Director of Strategy

Timeline: October 2021. One year contract with possibility for renewal.

Operational Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Program design and development in the Partnership Program.
  • Develop strong relationships with key influential NGO partners, government leaders, local community leaders, and other partners identified over the course of implementation in the communities
  • Strengthen communication and collaboration between The Freedom Story and its partners in both Chiang Rai and Nan
  • Participate in budget planning and management for Partnership Program related activities.
  • Ensuring consistency and quality: Have the greatest interest to make sure partners are also maintaining service and quality consistency.
  • Plan and provide targeted training and capacity building to support the activist communities.
  • Coordinate the analysis and reporting of all the Program’s progress, as well as the identification of good practices and lessons learned to be reported in the quarterly report.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on new ideas and methods to improve the program and its implementation.
  • Continually grow and improve your professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, and establishing personal networks.
  • Ensures execution of planned events/activities is seamless, by managing internal and external stakeholders efficiently
  • Participate in weekly Staff Meetings.
  • Offer insight and advice to programs.
  • Represent The Freedom Story at events including both local and international audiences.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in an NGO or related field is preferred. 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Communications, or related field.

Proficiency in the use of computers with:

  • Microsoft Office.
  • Data Base Management.
  • Google Calendar, Documents and Email.
  • Skype.
  • Cloud sharing platforms such as Dropbox and Box.com.

Hours and Work Environment

  • Full Time: 40 hours per week.
  • Flexible work hours.
  • Partnership Coordination Manager will work at the Resource Centers in Chiang Rai, Thailand.
  • Work from the office 2-3 days a week, availability to work from home 2-3 days a week.

Basic Function: The Partnership Coordination Officer will work closely with the Program Coordination Manager to develop and implement the plan and activities of the Partnership Program. The goal of the Partnership model is to scale The Freedom Story’s model through local partners in the community. We plan to do this by mobilizing our activist partners to prevent child trafficking through programmatic adaptation to local context. The Partnership Coordination Officer will work closely with our partners ensuring they have the needed knowledge and skills to apply the curriculum effectively and efficiently. They will also collect and analyze relevant data from the program to better monitor and report on the Program’s progress.

Reports To: Partnership Coordination Manager

Timeline: October 2021. One year contract with possibility for renewal.

Operational Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Plan and provide targeted training and capacity building to support the activist communities. 
  • Gather data and coordinate the analysis and reporting of all the Program’s progress, as well as the identification of good practices and lessons learned to be reported in the quarterly report. 
  • Provide assistance and support on the Program’s activities.
  • Attend all required trainings and meetings, whether virtual or in-person.
  • Ensure community engagement activities compliance with The Freedom Story’s policies and procedures e.g. health and safety, security and data protection.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the project work plan is on track and aligned with the context and needs of the community and target population of the project.
  • In coordination with M&E team, establish internal evidence base advocacy information and maintain up-to-date analysis of situation in project area, including regular analysis project information.
