   Program Assistant

The Equity Initiative is seeking a program assistant to work in our Bangkok office. Under the direction of the Bangkok Office Director, the Program Assistant provides program and administrative support to The Equity Initiative’s fellowship program and community building activities (with offices in the US, Thailand, and Viet Nam). JOB FUNCTIONS

Fellowship Program

• Support administration of fellowship online application system
• Assist with operations for fellowship program events
• Support online learning management system development; create online courses/modules, manage repository of curricular materials
• Assist in creating program documents
• Assist with ongoing monitoring and evaluation activities

Community Building

• Assist with communications strategies and public outreach for web and social media
• Contribute to content development for online and print materials
• Manage digital communications assets (photo, video, audio)

Administrative Support

• Provide support to ensure the smooth functioning of the Bangkok office, including office operations and preparation for meetings and events

RELATIONSHIPS

• Daily interaction with EI program directors and program team based in Southeast Asia
• Regular communications with fellows and fellowship applicants
• Contact with US-based headquarters for project-based work
• Participation and photo/video, and/or note taking at team meetings and fellowship events

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• College degree (BA or equivalent); health and development experience a plus
• Minimum 2-3 years work experience
• Excellent English-language writing and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)
• CRM Database management eg. Salesforce
• Working knowledge of various CMS (Wordpress) or LMS and social media
• Internet research
