PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role will provide specialist direction and support for two broad critical areas to help build WVFT P&C capability and organisational performance:
1. To strengthen and maintain WVFT's P&C systems to drive greater automation and efficiency in P&C practices
2. To improve the generation and use of P&C data to grow P&C division effectiveness and data-driven planning and decision-making by leaders and managers
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. HRIS and LMS operations and performance
- Manage the HRIS and lead efforts to strengthen it in collaboration with IT and regional and global P&C
- Provide direction, support and training/coaching to enable staff and managers to use the HRIS
- Generate reports and analysis as required
- Partner with L&D Specialist to ensure staff access to global digital LMS (eg eCampus) and other new global or local tools/platforms (eg TM, PM)
2. Data analytics use and capability
- Create Workforce Demographics reports/data and help leaders interpret these to inform planning and decisions about WVFT workforce
- Provide technical leadership and support in the design, adaption and use of analytics tools for key P&C processes (eg Workforce Planning, Exit interviews, L&D evaluation)
- Seek to improve processes/tools and embrace new and innovative data collection and analtyics solutions
3. Our Voice administration and reporting
- Manage the technical/admin preparation and implementation of the annual Our Voice employee engagement survey
- Provide reports as required, and support the Staff Engagement Specialist to help leaders and managers to understand and interpret the results, and develop action plans to address high priorities
- Design and implement tool/process to track and measure implementation of action plans
4. P&C division performance and capability
- Be a 'team-player' and contribute to the effectiveness of the P&C Division
- Partner with the P&C Division Manager to drive own performance, development and wellbeing
- Seek to grow and model WVFT's values and WV's Mindsets and Behaviours and help others to do the same
- Collaborate and partner with colleagues within P&C and across WVFT to promote unity, organisational agility and effectiveness
