Position: Project Officer – TUI Academy Project
Assignment duration: Fixed-Term 1 years Contract with possibility to extend
Duty station: Phang Nga
JOB Purpose:
The Project Officer (or CoC/Life Skills Trainer/Community Mobiliser) of the TUI Academy project will be a focal person to coordinate with the disadvantage young people and communities in the project target areas as well as the collaboration between the TUI Academy project and other project key partners in particular related government agencies and vocational skills training institutions in target areas (Phang Nga and Phuket) in Thailand. The position is based in Phang Nga Office with a substantial amount of time traveling to field locations to monitor the project activities, especially to recruit potential disadvantage young people as the project beneficiaries. The Project Officer (or CoC/Life Skills Trainer/Community Mobiliser) may be required to travel to the Country Office (CO) in Bangkok.
The person in this position will lead the training activities for the project beneficiaries on Champion of Change (CoC), Life Skills, English Skills and Vocational Skills as well as monitor them during internship period with the partner hotels to effectively and efficiently implement interventions in the project’s work plan and achieve the overall goal of the project as outlined in the project documents.
The Project Officer (or CoC/Life Skills Trainer/Community Mobiliser) of the TUI Academy project will have to ensure an effective working relationship with relevant government agencies and partners to ensure quality program delivery. S/he represents the TUI Academy project on behalf of Plan International Thailand to the project beneficiaries, potential disadvantage young people and community people in the project target areas.
