PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role will provide specialist research and analyst leadership and support to inform and enhance WVFT's strategies, programs and plans to achieve greater impact on child wellbeing in Thailand. The role will also facilitate the design, development and operation of an organisational knowledge management system to increase and improve knowledge capture and sharing in support of continous learning and improvement.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Research
- Drive and coordinate research and analysis across WVFT which aims to enhance country strategy, program implementation and strengthen advocacy and partnering
- Carry out the design and implementation of specific priority research activities, in collaboration with key colleagues, ensuring high-quality research data and reporting which is intentionally used to inform planning and decision-making
2. Policy analysis
- Evaluate, research and consult with key internal and external stakeholders to provide advice and input to respond to government policies and to inform decisions and planning programming and advocacy/partnering efforts
3. Knowledge management and learning
- Facilitate and coordinate the design, development and operation of an organisation knowledge management system and contribute to building a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
- Collaborate with and support departments in fostering knowledge sharing, including organisational events/channels which intentionally build a culture of celebrating and utilizing learning from best-practices and failures
4. SMO capability and performance
- Contribute as a 'team-player' to the ongoing operational effectiveness and development of the SMO
- Partner with line manager to drive own performance, development and wellbeing
- Model WVFT's core values and Mindsets and Behaviours and help others to the same
