Cuttlefish Digital is a start-up digital communications agency focused on developing and delivering targeted digital campaigns to clients focusing on climate action and energy transition in the Asia Pacific region. As part of a global network of more than 160 communicators, researchers, marketers, and advocacy strategists, we partner with some of Asia’s most influential advocacy organisations to campaign for clean energy.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Junior Digital Engagement Associate looking to start a career in campaigning for social change.

​

As part of this role you will:

• Create, edit, and publish compelling digital content for climate and energy campaigns affecting Southeast and East Asia.

• Plan, create, and execute paid and organic digital marketing campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Google, and LinkedIn.

• Support the Digital Engagement Associates to plan and execute campaigns projects.

• Support the Digital Insights Associate to gather data, analytics, and insights for campaigns

• Support the Managing Editor to publish website content.

• Administrative tasks, such as taking meeting minutes, following up on action points, continually updating the team’s work plan, and preparing expense reports.

This role reports to the Director, Cuttlefish Digital, and workflow is coordinated by the Digital Engagement Associate. It’s a brand new role with a growing team, so there’s plenty of scope to make this your own from the ground up.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• 1-2 years experience in digital campaigning, marketing, or communications.

• Experience creating visual and written content for digital marketing campaigns.

• Highly organized and strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience placing ad campaigns on Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

• A working knowledge of how digital and social media can be used for campaigns on social issues.

• An interest in climate change and its impacts in the Asia Pacific region.

SARALY: 40,000 – 50,000 THB per month (dependent upon skills and experience)

Candidates must be comfortable working in English and Thai. Knowledge of one or more in Bengali, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Mandarin, or Vietnamese would be an advantage.

Due to Thai Labour law, the candidates need to be Thai nationality only.

DATES OF CONSULTANCY

This is a 12-month fixed term contract (including a 3 month probationary period), with a possibility of extension, contingent on funding.
