Terms of Reference for __Regional Hub Finance Recharges
Working in 50 developing countries across Asia, Africa and the Americas, Plan aims to reach as many children as possible, particularly those who are excluded or marginalized with high quality programs that deliver long lasting benefits by managing our donations effectively.
The consultant will support APAC Regional Finance in bookkeeping inter-company recharges and working in collaboration with other PLAN COs to exchange the accounting information and ensure consistent service delivery.
Due to limited capacity in the APAC regional hub in Bangkok, additional capacity is required to support ongoing work of the finance section and ensure smooth transition during the recruitment process of new Regional Hub Accountant Assistant.
A local consultant is required to support the inter-company recharges and ad hoc financial tasks throughout the duration of transition.
Under supervision of Regional Finance Manager, the consultant is to provide support to APAC Regional Finance in execution of intercompany recharges for 2 months from November 2020 until January 2021.
Tasks/Methodology
Inter-company recharges for APAC Regional Office in Bangkok
Liaise with other Plan Offices on various cross charges from/to Asia Pacific Regional office in order to complete bookkeeping records in SAP/new ERP system.
Prepare and send inter-company recharge forms and its complete support documentations on timely manner to Plan Offices accepting the recharge.
Receive and verify completeness and accuracy of inter-company recharges from the sending Plan Offices.
Record the incoming inter-company recharges based on prior APAC approver and supporting documents described above.
Ad hoc
Assist Regional Finance Manager with routine and required adjusting entries in the system.
Keep track of Inter-Company transactions.
Handle financial documents filing both in-house and outside storage for Finance department.

Schedule
The contract shall commence in on 16 November 2020 and end on 15 January 2021. Extension of the consultancy is subject to requirement of the APAC Finance, the job performance and /or the availability of funds.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Business Administration or other related field
1- 2 years working experience as Finance assistant/Bookkeeper or similar position
Experience using SAP is advantage, or using other ERP is an asset
Experience working with expatriates is preferred
Good English communication skills
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
