Event Organizer for USAID Achieve celebration and co-learning Event
Since 2018, Save the Children (Thailand) Foundation (SCT), ACTED, and The Looker are working with local partners and stakeholders to implement a People-to-People (P2P) model of the vocational training (VT) for vulnerable youth in the Deep South of Thailand. The USAID Achieve, overall goal is to promote inter-communal collaboration, mutual understanding and positive engagement between Patani-Malays and Thai Buddhists while improving economic opportunities for vulnerable youth in the Deep South of Thailand. The project successfully implementing between 2018-2021 in with ACTED as an implementing partner and received two years costed extension in collaboration with the local partner (The Looker). The Vocational Training (VT) program was implemented by local VT colleges in collaboration with local CSOs. All local partners are trained on the People-to-People (P2P) approach, as well as technical and organizational capacity building based on completed needs assessments. Youth team-building activities fostered self-reflection and bonding between groups, while a Small Enterprise Development (SED) Fund encouraged innovation and inter-communal collaboration.
Activity Theory of Change: “IF the capacity of government is improved to provide economic opportunities for vulnerable youth in the Deep South AND trust and collaboration between Muslim and Buddhist youth and key people is increased, THEN there will be an improved meaningful engagement among citizens of different backgrounds in Thailand’s Deep South.”
Save the Children is seeking a creative supplier to help in promoting the impact stories of youth employability of Malay Muslim and Thai in the Deep south of Thailand and organising the co-learning/job fair event . The assignment will include highlighting success stories of how the USAID Achieve project has been creating safe opportunities for people from different background to interact, to learn vocational skills and build mutual understanding of key people to more people through Life Skills for Successful Transition to promote inter-communal collaboration, mutual understanding and meaningful engagement between Patani-Malay and Thai Buddhists while improving economic opportunities for vulnerable youth in the deep south of Thailand. The objective of the consultancy are:
Primary target audience: Thai and Patani-Malay conflict-afflicted youths age 15–25 (male and female), residing in targeted provinces in the Deep South of Thailand (Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat).
Secondary target audience: Key people, private sector and Thai governmental organisations in the targeted provinces in the Deep South of Thailand. These include: University staff; Administrators in VT; CSOs; Business leaders and business owners; Government (vocational training); and local authorities among others.
The Supplier will work from home with exception of field visits to document stories, interview, video recorder and photo. The consultant is responsible for all video equipment; from pre-production such as script writing and storyboard to post-production such as editing and dissemination as well as production staff. All travel expense shall be covered in financial proposal.
A communication plan that is positive and empowering with aims to empower vulnerable youth and increase active participation of CSOs, local authorities, and other relevant stakeholders in meaningful engagement to sustain long-term impact and project’s learning among key stakeholder and communities.

The Supplier shall provide the below status updates for the duration of the services:
Save the Children asserts all proprietary rights in and to all names and service marks of Save the Children. Any use of Save the Children’s service mark including the Save the Children name and Save the Children logo in any form in connection with any product and service that does not belong to Save the Children, unless otherwise authorized in a written agreement, will constitute an infringement upon the service mark rights of such owner and may be actionable under applicable laws.
Save the Children seeks value for money in its work. This does not necessarily mean "lowest cost", but quality of the service and reasonableness of the proposed costs. Proposals shall include personnel allocation (role / number of days / daily rates / taxes), as well as any other applicable costs.
The withholding Tax 3% will be deducted from the supplier and bank fee is responsible by the consultant
The Fees are inclusive of all costs, overheads and expenses, including travel, subsistence and accommodation

(1) Expression of interest including a detailed proposal for the assignment
(2) Company/Individual profile and portfolio
(3) Quotation of budget with the profession fee/rate of each activity items
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. The notified creative supplier will come in/join online for a creative briefing (with a chance to ask key questions) on June 7, 2023 and initially submit a proposal with at least two creative pitches for the campaign.
