Purpose and Objectives:
To support China Program, ADPC is engaging an intern to assist in various administrative activities required for implementation of the projects/programs with China. The Intern will be responsible for coordinating and assisting any activities under the China Program Director.
Expected Outputs:
The Intern will perform the responsibilities and duties for assisting the China Program in the administrative tasks and other relevant affairs.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
The Intern will work under the overall guidance of the China Program Director:
- Provide general administrative support.
- Prepare supportive actions such as preparation and printing of documents for meetings and events, and management of documentation.
- Prepare financial and administrative tasks such as preparation of liquidation of expenditures, settlement of advances, assisting HRA in obtaining visas, and other official documentation.
Additional tasks in line with the scope of the position as assigned by the China Program Director.
Reporting and Relationships:
The Intern will report directly to the China Program Director.
Requirements:
- Are graduated with a university degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, etc., and if selected, must commence the internship either prior to graduation or within a one-year or so period of graduation; or are enrolled in an advanced degree program in a graduate school (second university degree or equivalent) at the time of application.
- Good computer skills especially in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Simple graphic designing for book, cover and book layout (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
- Good command of English language both in writing and orally. Excellent Thai communication skills. Knowledge of Chinese language (Mandarin) is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in office functions, general office administration and office maintenance.
- Eagerness to contribute to the team and learn.
- Good interpersonal skills, team-oriented work style and interest and experience in working in a multicultural, international development; a sound skill on problem solving is a must.
Thai National is preferred.
