Position: Project Officer for Disability and Social Inclusion (1 open position)
Handicap International (HI) seeks a Disability and Social Inclusion Project Officer for its Disability and Social Inclusion project based in Mae Sot, Tak province, with frequent travel to Mae La camp Tak province.
Closing date: 15th December, 2017

Disability and Social Inclusion Project Officer‘s general mission:
The Disability and Social Inclusion Project Officer under the direct supervision of Disability and Social Inclusion Team Leader remains responsible to implement Disability mainstreaming and inclusion activities for People with Disabilities and strengthen the overall action of HI in the refugee camps, along the Thai Burma Border.
Disability and Social Inclusion Project Officer’s Responsibilities
Responsibility 1: Plan, monitor, implement the Disability and Social Inclusion (DSI) activities and ensure care quality
Aim: Ensure the activities are implemented on time with the clinical quality of services
Responsibility 2: Empower, build capacity and coach camp staffs, community staff and for other agencies on DSI activities.
Aim: Build capacity of DSI community staff to be able to provide the quality of community DSI services.
Responsibility 3: Ensure communication, networking and coordination at field level for DSI activities.
Aim: Under the supervision of his/her line manager, ensure implementation of good practices and good communication.

Qualifications required:
Education: University degree in the field of community development, social work, sociology or related field.
