Diakonia Asia Regional Office is recruiting a Regional Advisor on Communication
Placement: Chiang Mai, Thailand
Duration: 2 years
Planned starting date: March 2018
Report to: Regional Manager
We believe that you are a skilled and experienced communicator, passionate about creating engaging and effective communication and in getting to know your target audiences. You are used to work independently within a given framework and take responsibility for achieving results. You have very good planning, organizing, reporting and writing skills. As this position includes training and supervising colleagues in communication, storytelling and social media you need the capability to be pedagogic and inspirational. You like working with others to reach common goals, as well as taking own initiatives and work independently. Your goal should be to make the work of Diakonia and partners visible, and attract existing and new donors.
The work is under delegation and supervision by the Regional Manager and part of the regional team.
