Consultant Position: Local Photographer (Consultant)

Summary of assignment:  

Winrock International is a nonprofit organization that works with people in the United States and around the world to empower the disadvantaged, increase economic opportunity, and sustain natural resources. Winrock is implementing the USDA-funded Regional Agriculture Innovation Network (RAIN) project, which facilitates adoption of climate-smart innovations to increase productivity, reduces environmental impact, and expands trade in Thailand and Southeast Asia through creation of a Climate Hub.

The Climate Hub organized through the RAIN project will coordinate a research consortium in close collaboration with Kasetsart University, the premier agricultural university of Thailand, the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), and the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

Winrock seeks the services of a professional team of photographer/videographer, firm or individuals, with demonstrable expertise in capturing project events. The team of photographer/videographer will capture key moments of RAIN project launch event for publication on government websites, social media and printed marketing materials. The edited video clip, no longer than 5 minutes, will be used to promote the project to stakeholders.

Winrock adheres to maintaining highly ethical photography standards that represent a culture, its society, and people accurately. This position requires ensuring that the integrity of people and their environments take precedence.

Location of work: The team of photographer/videographer will be present at the project launch event on June 21^st in Bangkok (venue to be identified)

Deliverables:

At least 50 fully captioned photos of project launch and one 5-minute long edited video clip, the selection of which will be in consultation with RAIN Outreach and Communications Manager.
